Essentials of the Catholic Faith: Short Course for St. Mary's High School Staff

Last December 3rd, 2024, Father Juan Serna, S.T.L., taught a session on Moral Theology to St. Mary's High School staff for their on-going formation. During his class, he engaged the participants in a thoughtful discussion and interesting conversation on the question of how to live a moral life. Surely, the participants have gained a lot of insights on living a moral life to prepare them well for the coming of Christ this Christmas.

Certificate Ceremony 2024On February 17th, 2024, at the Cathedral of the Annunciation, the School of Ministry held its annual Certificate Ceremony. During the ceremony, the School of Ministry acknowledged completion of courses to those who have undergone formation and training through the School of Ministry in collaboration with other diocesan ministry offices. This year there were 114 acknowledgements and 56 diocesan certificates awarded. The Liturgy was presided by The Very Reverend John J. M. Foster, J.C.D., Episcopal Vicar for Temporal and Canonical Affairs. It was truly an event to be grateful to God for a bountiful harvest in terms of ministry formation in our diocese.
