Ministry Formation Courses

For school year 2022-2023, the Introduction to Theology for Ministry (ITM) is offered online and in person.  Online classes are offered through the University of Dayton's Virtual Learning Community for Faith Formation (VLCFF) and the in-person classes are organized by the School of Ministry in one of the parishes in the Diocese.

The Theology and Leadership for Ministry (TLM) course is offered online through the VLCFF.  The Introduction to Theology for Ministry (ITM) course is a pre-requisite for this course.

Tuition fees are paid to Dayton University after registering and before the start of a Cycle.  The cost for a 5-week course is $50.  The cost of a 3-week course/seminar is $40.  To receive information on how to register at Dayton for these courses fill out the pre-registration below.

Participants are asked to pre-regsiter through the Diocesan School of Ministry Office before registering for a course whether the courses are online through Dayton or in-person through the diocese.
