…We are caught up in the mission of the Church and we commit
ourselves to work for the enhancement of human dignity at
every stage of life…We seek to work together with all people
of good will as advocates for life and see as our special
mission the work of calling our brothers in the faith to
an increased respect for life.

The Respect Life Office works to promote respect
for life in all areas through the following programs:
We reach out to pregnant and parenting adolescents
through the Community of Caring Program.
We minister to those affected by an abortion through
Project Rachel, a Catholic post-abortion reconciliation program.
Natural Family Planning is effective either to
avoid pregnancy or to achieve pregnancy. It is reliable,
morally acceptable and cost-effective.
Educational Workshops on Life Issues (including
abortion, artificial contraception, euthanasia, death penalty
and abstinence and sexuality presentations for grades 6-12)
are offered through our Speaker’s Bureau.
Each parish has a Parish Respect Life Representative
to promote life issues in the parish.
