Parish Programs

While each parish is responsible for the education of the student with special needs this office assists the parish in setting up a program which will best fit the needs of the student and their family. The director, when invited, will come to the parish for a training process. 

Programs used by the office include:

•       The Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Program to Improve Catholic Religious
        Education for Children & Adults with Mental Retardation.
•       Sacramental Preparation Methods for Students with Challenging
        Needs.

Inclusive Education is the mainstreaming into the regular classroom and providing an aide for the disabled student.
