Cemeteries
The Church considers the cemetery to
be a holy place. In their cemeteries, therefore, Christians
bury and show honor to the bodies not only of their brothers
and sisters in faith, but also of those to whom they are bound
by the ties of a common humanity: in shedding his blood on
the cross for all, Christ has redeemed us all. (The
Book of Blessings, n. 1418)
