Father in Heaven,
Lord of all the world,
We acknowledge your goodness to us
And how much you have blessed us
With gifts of grace and treasure that you have entrusted to our care.

Ever loving God
You continue to build up your Church
Through the proclamation of the Gospel.
You strengthen us by your grace as we move into a future
Filled with hope and challenge.

We pray that our diocesan Campaign “Church for Tomorrow”
Will be successful in accordance with your will.
May you bless our efforts as we seek the resources
To strengthen our faith family and our future.

We beg that you will give us the strength to test the genuineness
of our love in self giving. May the results of this campaign
Be worthy of our calling to be good Catholic Stewards.

May our generosity unify our many faith communities with common purpose and advance the mission of the Church.
As in all things, may it give You honor and glory now and forever.

In 2007, after much prayer and consultation, Bishop Stephen E. Blaire made the decision to embark upon an historic campaign that will ensure the Diocese of Stockton can respond to current demands and prepare for the next generation of Catholics. This capital and endowment campaign, entitled THE CHURCH FOR TOMORROW, sought to raise a minimum of $30 million. The programs, services, and financial resources made available will enable the Diocese to respond to the needs of today and accomplish our mission into the future.

• Goal $30,000,000
• Raised to date over $36 million (cash and pledges)
• 10,155 donors
• $3,357 average per donor
• 28 parishes over goal
