The National Catholic Conference for Youth Ministry (NCCYM) was attended by Ann Marie Avansino, Director of English Youth and Young Adult Ministry, and a team of 7 from our diocese. It was held in New Orleans. Some of the talks from the conference are available at http://nccym.nfcym.org/stream.htm. This Thursday evening, the group met with Bishop Blaire to give him an exciting report.

"The National Conference on Catholic Youth Ministry (NCCYM) is the largest conference in the country for adults who minister to and with Catholic youth. The journeys of those who serve the young church in the United States converge in New Orleans, where Catholic tradition is as essential to the experience of the city as is its rich cultural diversity and indomitable spirit. United in prayer and community, we march amidst a renewed joie de vivre and rekindled mission, in celebration and solidarity with Saints past and present who have responded to the call of Christ in their lives."
