| The Diocese of Stockton and Holy Names University are offering a Pastoral Ministries Program in our diocese. This three-year program is designed for working adults, who are engaged in some form of pastoral ministry and are interested in pursuing a MA, graduate certificate or undergraduate credit in pastoral ministries. The Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministries is an exciting program of intercultural formation for lay leadership and ministry in the Catholic Church. It offers unique networking and community building opportunities with other students, many of whom are from other dioceses. The program is built around the leading certification standards of the National Association for Lay Ministry. Students seeking undergraduate units would receive Master’s level instruction but homework assignments would be modified to fit into an undergraduate study. One course will be offered in each seven-week term; there will be two terms in a semester. Classes meet once a week from 6 pm to 10 pm in the Ryan Center in Stockton. Students will participate in live video-conferencing connecting them with the classroom in Oakland and Fresno. |
