Opportunities for all Priests

Priests' Retreat

Each Priest is expected to make an annual retreat. Every other year, the presbyterate gathers during the second week of May for a communal preached retreat.

Priests’ Convocation

Every other year the Presbyterate gather together for a convocation in which a topic of interest is explored with the help of an outside facilitator. This occurs on those years when a communal retreat is not scheduled.

Good Leaders, Good Shepherds

Good Leaders, Good Shepherds celebrates the priesthood by engaging participants in a comprehensive curriculum designed to provide the best leadership practices to priests. This ongoing formation revitalizes the spirit and empowers participants to embrace their extraordinary vocation more fully. It is a four-semester program.

Accent Modification

Many priests and seminarians have generously committed themselves for service to the diocese even though their homes are in other countries. Many come without knowledge of English. The need for strong communication skills if the priest is to serve as pastoral leader necessitates that he be assisted through the study of the English language and the use of Accent Reduction coaching. Arranged on an individual basis.
