This program is conducted by representatives of the local Continuing Formation Directors of Region XI. It is a two week program conducted one week in the fall and a second week in the spring. It is meant to give a general overview of a pastor’s role and tasks, to assist in some skills development and to lend support to beginning pastors. The California Bishops, the Regional Council of Priests and the National Office for the Continuing Education of Roman Catholic Clergy are the sponsoring bodies.
