“Amen, I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20
SEEDS is an independent, nonprofit organization made up of concerned community leaders that provides tuition assistance to the elementary schools in the Diocese of Stockton.
SEEDS believes that every child deserves the opportunity to attend Catholic school. Diocese of Stockton schools not only help students develop a positive Catholic identity, but develop the whole person. We strongly agree with the Vatican Congregation for Catholic Education that, in 1997, wrote, “The Catholic school should be able to offer young people the means to acquire the knowledge they need in order to find a place in society which is strongly characterized by technical and scientific skill. But at the same time, it should be able, above all, to impart a solid Christian formation.”
