Parish Vocations Committees

Parish Vocations Committees are an integral part of and the extension of the Vocations Office for Vocation Promotion. The Committees work closely with the Vocation Director.

Mission

The mission and purpose of the Parish Vocations Committee is to inspire and assist the parish community in fulfilling its mission of fostering vocations, especially to ordained ministry and religious life. The committee will do this mainly in three ways:

1. Launching a campaign of prayer for vocations.

2. Creating parish awareness of vocations.

3. Surfacing names of potential candidates and personally inviting them to  consider a church vocation.
