John's Journey to Priesthood
My vocation story can be described into two crucial words: “Listening” and “Responding”. Indeed, Listening is to listen to the words of God. The word of God is not something; however, it is someone, and “someone” is God. When I listen to the words of God, therefore, I listen to the whispering call from him. Responding is the response that God has given me a free will to choose and reply. When God becomes my whole being, my everything, my freedom and free will are choosing God rather than choosing what the world could offer. Hence, I desire to become an instrument in the hands of God.

A Scripture Passage that Inspires John
My favorite story in  the Gospel is: “The Parable of the Lost Son” (Luke 15: 11-32). In this  story, we can unequivocally see how unfathomably God has forgiven us. No matter what we have gone and wandered, no matter what we have done, our sins are always forgiven if  we truly and deeply repent and regret. Our loving Father always wants His children to come home and rejoice with Him at the feast that He has already prepared  for us.

The word of God is not something; however, it is someone,  and “someone” is God. When I listen to the words

To respond that God has given me a free will to choose and reply. When God becomes  my whole being, my everything, my freedom and free will are  choosing  God rather than choosing what the world could offer. Hence, I desire to become an instrument in the hands of God.
