PRINCIPAL The position of principal is a full-time exempt position in which the principal has the required knowledge and skills to meet the spiritual and academic needs of students. The principal provides professional leadership for and evaluation of curriculum, programs, teachers and other school employees. As an integral member of the Ministry Team of Presentation Church, the principal must also be sensitive to and encouraging of the spiritual needs of both parents of the school and other parishioners. | Catholic Charities Immigration Legal Services Program has an opening for an evening part-time, temporary teaching assignment to help prepare Lawful Permanent Residents for the Naturalization Exam and to advance their integration into the United States instructor. The successful candidate would have a valid California Teacher’s Certificate in English as a Second Language (ESL) and experience in teaching English Language Learners (ELL). Bilingual (Spanish & English) preferred. Instructors will teach students, administer proficiency tests, work with bilingual classroom volunteers and comply with funding regulations regarding ESL records, reports and services. We anticipate the two 3-hour evening classes per week and preparation to not exceed 8 hours per week.
